J-Box — Intermediate & Advanced Surf Trip
July – October
Our favourite wave on the island, and one of Zanzibar’s best-kept secrets. A local guide gets you straight to the break by boat, right when it’s firing.
⚠️ Independent surfers only. You should be confidently catching your own waves, turning down the line, and duck diving or turtle rolling through sets. This spot isn’t suitable for beginners — if you’re not sure this is you, message us and we’ll get you into the right session instead.
~4.5 hrs door to wave and back (around 2 hrs in the water, conditions dependent)
